Es ist für mich eine große Freude und ich bin stolz darauf, Präsident der Original TIROLER KAISERJÄGERMUSIK sein zu dürfen. Als musikalischer Botschafter unserer Heimat Tirol und unseres Vaterlandes Österreich wird die Original TIROLER KAISERJÄGERMUSIK auch in Zukunft viel dazu beitragen, dass Österreichs Musikkultur ihren Bestand und ihre traditionelle Gültigkeit haben wird. Vor 100 Jahren war Österreich noch in allen Belangen eine Weltmacht. Heute sind wir ein kleines und feines Land, aber in der Musik sind wir nach wie vor eine Weltmacht.

Greetings I'm proud and delighted to be the president of the
Imperial Tiroler Kaiserjäger Brass Band.

The history of the band goes back to the days before World War I when Austria still was a great power. Kaiserjäger – the Imperial Rifles – were an elite regiment recruited in the Alpine provinces of the Habsburg empire. It is our aim to act as ambassadors for our country, Austria, and the beautiful Alpine province of the Tyrol. We see ourselves as part of Austria's musical tradition, which we want to preserve and to keep alive for future generations.

Today, Austria may only be a small country – but musically, we may still rank as a world power.
